Professional Journey

Gyselle embarked on her circus career at the renowned Picadeiro Circus School in São Paulo, Brazil, specializing in aerial techniques from 1999 to 2002. She further honed her skills at Criollo Circus School in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 2002 to 2004, deepening her expertise in aerial arts.

International Experience

Gyselle Freitas has built a distinguished career performing and instructing at prestigious venues and cultural centers across the globe.

Her professional journey has spanned various countries throughout South America and Europe and also Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco. Notable highlights of her international engagements include:

- Creating and performing special acts for Tui Hotels – Magic Life during multiple summer seasons.
- Collaborating with renowned circus companies such as Circo Patati Patatá in Brazil, Circo Montreal, Cirque Medrano, and Cirque Amar in France, as well as Italian Circus Il Florilegio and Circus Roland Orfei, Sol y Luna Dinner Show in Urubamba Peru, among others.
 
These experiences underscore Gyselle's versatility as both an artist and instructor, showcasing her talent and dedication on a global stage.

Current Activities

In Amsterdam, Gyselle plays an integral role in the local circus community. As a dedicated instructor at Circuswerkplaats Boost, she nurtures students of all ages, from children to adults, in diverse circus disciplines. Additionally, she shares her expertise as a straps teacher at Corpus Acrobatics and dazzles audiences as a special act performer at Supper Club Amsterdam.

Gyselle's versatility shines through her involvement in various events, where she captivates audiences with her breathtaking aerial acrobatics and dynamic performances.

One of her featured shows, "Lola and the Butterflies," is a captivating 20-minute spectacle for children. This enchanting performance seamlessly blends aerial acrobatics, dance, floor acrobatics, and juggling into a magical narrative.

Beyond performances, Gyselle also curates memorable birthday parties for children, offering captivating shows and engaging workshops tailored to create unforgettable experiences.
